Rock Climbing

I started rock climbing in high school - going out into the woods with friends and finding fun boulders to climb on in our sneakers. I got my first taste of legitimate rock climbing on a trip to the New River Gorge in West Virginia with the Penn State Outdoors club. I was pretty hooked from that experience, and did some local bouldering in the State College area. After college I did some occasional bouldering at the gyms in Seattle, but didn’t really get into it until I lived in Berlin. I climbed 3-5x / week with friends after work, learned how to lead climb independently, and took a few climbing trips while living in Berlin. After moving back to the US + the pandemic, my climbing habit fell off, but I recently joined Vital climbing gym in Williamsburg and am really excited to get back into it, and I’d like to get out to some spots in the area.
